Ceske Pivo comes to Amsterdam

Lover’s of Heineken, please step aside for just a moment. The big beer kids are in town.

One of our favorite breweries in Amsterdam – yes, Southern girls can love something other than rose wine and G&T’s – Butcher’s Tears is bringing some of my favorite breweries from the Czech Republic in an all-day drinking fest.

Half liters at the ready, Butcher’s Tears welcomes some Czech favorites like:

U Fleku
Únetický
Hostomice
Matuska
Dva Kohouti
Cerna Svine
Vinohradsky
Lajka
Břevnovský klásterní
Metaphore

For those who only know the Gambrinus, Budvar (Czechvar), Staropramen, and Pilsner Urquell, you are in for quite a treat.

For those unfamiliar with the Czech beer system, beers are broken down into degrees (10, 11, 12, and then, all the rest). Most people drinks 10 or 11 degree beers, or at the very least, that is what my friends and I drink in Prague, but the more adventurous can certainly do a 15 degree beer.

How do i buy tickets for this beautiful czech beer festival?

Simple, click on this link and buy your ticket for 26 EUR per person. The ticket includes a social distanced table (between 2 and 6 people), your own gold-rimmed glass, and beer tokens – good for 6 small beers or 3 big beers.

Make sure you buy your tickets online, they cannot guarantee tickets at the door!
