So you are tired of cooking and want something delicious to eat… but it’s got to be delivery because you’re helping humanity by flattening the curve (Good on you).
Here are our favorite restaurants currently available on Deliveroo and Uber Eats to see you through this crisis. And as always, don’t forget to tip your delivery person!
Rotisserie Rijsel – Uber Eats
Included in the top places to eat in Amsterdam, this must-make-a-reservation-space is now coming straight to your door. Highly recommend the poussin roti (but get two they are SMALL), baguette with butter, and oven roasted potatoes… and if the cote de boeuf is available, I also suggest you splurge on that. This won’t be cheap, but it will be very much worth it. (Cuisine type: French, International, Belgian)
Amantra – Deliveroo
Have a hankering for Indian that will last over the course of a day or two? Amantra is one of my personal favorites in Amsterdam. They are available on both Uber Eats and Deliveroo, but if you’re looking for the most bang for your Euro, I recommend ordering through Deliveroo and getting one of the Tasty Menu’s (and maybe add an extra peshwari or garlic naan in there for good measure). (Cuisine type: Indian)
Burrito Anonymous – Uber Eats
Hankering for a burrito that is actually good? Oh friends, Burrito Anonymous is your new best friend. The burritos are easily 500g and come with chips and sour cream. I also recommend getting a side of chips and salsa, which come in a variety of flavors. Service is quick for the times you’re hanging or just starving and with a variety of sauces it caters to those who fancy mild to XX Fiery hot. And as always, quac is extra (Cuisine type: Mexican)
Fenicie – Uber Eats
Fatoush, muhammara, hummus and kebabs, it’s like travelling to Lebanon, but without the coronavirus risk or stupid exchange rate. Seriously Lebanon, get your lira together. This dine-in restaurant located in Leidseplein is now offering Take Away orders on Uber Eats. We highly recommend just about everything on the menu but our favorites are for sure the muhammara, hummus bi’awarma, kibbeh and labna. (Cuisine type: Middle Eastern, Lebanese)
FuLu Mandarijn – Uber Eats
Oh lovers of Chinese food with over 40 years of history this restaurant is a must for those wanting something spicy. Combining local ingredients with imported Sichuan spices and flavors it’s sure to impress even the most ardent Chinese food connoisseur during lockdown. Those looking for cheap and cheerful Chinese will be disappointed. (Cuisine Type: Chinese)
